NARBOROUGH SPEED WATCH

Are you fed up with speeding cars in the village?  Would you like to become involved in a new scheme to monitor speed with police training?  We have just the thing for you, then.  The scheme is called Speed Watch.  This involves pointing a radar gun at the car, noting the speed and registration number.  We need a minimum of six people working in two teams of three.  We are very happy to have any number of volunteers – the more we have the easier it becomes for everyone.  Comprehensive training is given by the Police in the use of equipment and the purpose of the scheme.

This is something that can be done by young and old, not forgetting the middle aged!  There is a lower age limit of 18, otherwise anybody can apply.

To find out more about this scheme and to put your name on the volunteers list, please telephone the Parish Clerk, David Burchell, on 01760 337613/ 01760 337187.
