We receive funding from Norfolk County Council to provide free early years education for children from the term following their third birthday until they reach compulsory school age. We are OFSTED registered and currently rated by them as "Good."
Our aim is to provide a safe, secure place for children to learn through play, using a range of activities which are stimulating and fun whilst respecting the individual needs of each child, and promoting the four main principles of The Early Years Foundation Stage.
We strive to be generous with our care and attention, to encourage children to play together and show tolerance and kindness to each other whilst developing their confidence and social skills.
We aim to provide high quality childcare and education using the Key Person approach, to work in partnership with parents to help their child learn, develop and build upon the knowledge they already have, and to offer a service that promotes equality and values diversity and, in doing so, add to the life of our local community.
Nar Valley Pre-school provides a setting in which all parents can help shape the service we offer, contribute to Pre-school life, and be a part of their child's early education.
