MINUTES OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF NARBOROUGH PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 15  NOVEMBER 2010 IN THE CHURCH CENTRE BEGINNING AT 7.30pm

1)     Apologies.  Apologies for absence were accepted from:

a)     Councillor D Wallace – recuperating from operation

b)     Councillor D Williams – previous meeting.

2)     Declarations of members Interests.  There were no Declarations of Members’ Interests under the Code of Conduct.

3)     Public Participation.  Neither of the members of the public wished to address the Meeting.                   

4)     Planning Application 3PL/2010/0979/F – Oak Grange – Retention of Timber Cabin, Drive, Shed, Kennels, Stables for Gypsy Family & Caravan for Family Room/Visitors.  After some lively discussion it was unanimously resolved to object to this application on the following grounds:

a)     The development is outside the village development envelope.

b)     The development is not for agricultural accommodation.

c)      The development is likely to encourage ribboning.

d)     Access to and egress from the site is on a fast stretch of the A.47(T) and as such is a potential road safety hazard.

5)     Planning Application 3PL/2010/1195/F – 68 Old Vicarage Park – Extension.  There were no objections to this application.
