Thank you all so much for turning up and helping us to make approximately (very) £1800 for the Community Centre funds and for helping all the charities attending to achieve very good results also. I believe the Retired Greyhound Trust found homes for at least three dogs on the day. Happy dogs, happy people (isn't that right Chris Harfield?) The dog show did well for the Horse Sanctuary, the WI and Footie Club fed and watered (tea'd? coffeed?) people all day, Everybody enjoyed themselves which pleases us as that is still the main focus of the day.
The Village Fair committee are slightly crazy as we are doing another one next year, even better than this (unless it rains). Please may I beg now? The only thing we were short of this year was volunteers. You don't have to join committees or anything. We would just like to have a commitment from you to help on Saturday or Sunday. We need help to set up the hall and arrange the field. We also need people to run the sideshows. As far as the sideshows go, we are very willing to share the proceeds with a charity of your choice.
SUNDAY 22 JULY 2012 11AM - 4PM
Please put this date in your diaries now, it would be a shame to miss this just because you are going to Spain or somewhere else hot and sunny, don't you think?
